🍷 Appearance
Deep, inky purple to almost black in the glass with a luminous crimson rim. The colour is dense and concentrated, typical of this powerful Barossa Valley Shiraz.
👃 Aroma (Nose)
Intense aromatics of blackberry, cassis and ripe plum rise from the glass. Layers of licorice, baking spices, dark chocolate and espresso combine with hints of cedar, earth and graphite, giving the bouquet impressive depth and complexity.
👅 Palate
Full-bodied and richly textured with concentrated flavours of black plum, blackberry and dark cherry. The palate unfolds with notes of cocoa, spice, mocha and savoury undertones, delivering both power and elegance.
⚖️ Structure
Muscular yet refined with firm, fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity. The wine is matured for around 16 months in new French and American oak, adding structure and complexity while maintaining fruit purity.
🔚 Finish
Long, powerful and persistent with lingering dark fruit, chocolate and spice, supported by polished tannins and impressive depth.

An iconic Barossa Valley Shiraz sourced from 50- to 130-year-old vines in the Ebenezer sub-region. Amon-Ra is known for its immense concentration, layered complexity and outstanding ageing potential.
