In 2020 we suffered the catastrophe of losing our entire crop to smoke taint, a consequence of severe drought and the worst bushfire season in living memory. Generous friends came to our rescue with clean fruit from regions outside New South Wales.
The fruit for this ripe pear, ginger and peach laden Viognier came from the Yalumba vineyards in Eden Valley in South Australia. Thanks to Louisa Rose and the Hill-Smith family for making the grapes available for us.
