Aroma is leafy herbaceous edge with dark berry fruits and tobacco. Palate is medium bodied, savoury dark berry fruit with softly integrated oak characters with an elegant structure. Fine grained very persistent tannins. Alcohol: 14%. Recommended to cellar for up to 10 years. An excellent wine to match with lamb shanks, beef casserole, spaghetti bolognaise or hard cheeses.
