Located on a sliver of red soil in one of the world’s finest wine regions. When Henry Hinton purchased 100 acres of farmland in the place we now call Coonawarra, little did he know it would one day hold a reputation as one of the world’s finest wine regions. With cool Southern Ocean breezes and iconic Terra Rossa soil, Hinton’s Hundred has established a reputation for creating exceptional wines from the cool climate of Coonawarra.
TASTING NOTE: Aromas of ripe plums and blueberries. The palate is elegant and well-structured with rich red currants and cherries. Fine, persistent tannins provide excellent length with a hint of cool climate spice on the finish.
