Deep cherry red. Delicious aromas of blackcurrants, red cherries and lifted toasty oak. Vibrant red cherries, and cassis over smooth chocolatey tannins. Medium bodied, elegant and balanced. Released young, best enjoyed whilst young and full of delicious red-fruit flavours.
Our ‘20 vintage saw tiny yields due to inclement weather during flowering. Fortunately, this meant we had excellent concentration of flavour to the small volume of grapes we were able to harvest.
Harvested late March 2020. Fermented on skins for 7-9 days before pressing to tank to finish malolactic fermentation. Subtle oak influence to preserve fresh fruit flavours and support silky texture.
