The 2022 Seppeltsfield Barossa Touriga wine is a thick skinned, intensely coloured grape, Touriga Nacional (abbreviated to Touriga) has been made famous by the Portuguese fortified wine expression, ‘Vintage Port’ (VP). In Australia, its history has largely also been lined with fortified winemaking, however with careful canopy management and selective harvesting, Touriga’s high aromaticity and vibrant colour can be equally suited to elegant still wine expressions.
The 2021 Seppeltsfield Barossa Touriga is sourced from the Seppeltsfield estate vineyard.
