In 1858 Adam and Katherine Roth established a beautiful vine growing property and winery known as Rothview, now Craigmoor, which remains one of Australia’s oldest still standing wineries. Roth was one of a number of German ‘vine dressers’ brought to Australia by William Macarthur as skilled labour for his vineyard, the first winery in the country. Circa 1858 celebrates over 150 years of Australian winemaking tradition with a refreshing take on our most modern styles.
WINEMAKING NOTES:
Lively, juicy, tropical fruit, lime and grassy notes ensure this is a typical Sauvignon Blanc. Its refreshing crisp finish ensures enjoyment on its own or with Asian salads and seafood dishes.
