Our vineyard lives on the edge of the Margaret River Plateau and the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge. Adjacent yet contrasting, these landforms share the ancient and impermeable Leeuwin Block granite basement rock, which defines water flows in the caves of the limestone ridge, and the deep gravel soils of the plateau. These water flows are essential to the formation of the crystalline waterfall like formations of the caves flowstones, and the sustainability of the vine in the soils of the plateau.

In the unseen scenery of the limestone cave and the vineyard landscape, the creators of flowstone and wine share a simplicity of physical expression, a hidden complexity in process, and are unique to place.
