WINERY INFORMATION:

Hancock and Hancock is a joint venture of brothers Chris and John Hancock (a part of Robert Oatley Vineyards) resulting from the purchase of “La Colline”, a vineyard on Chalk Hill Road northeast of the McLaren Vale township. They source their fruit from independent and family-owned vineyards with each outfit having first-class winery facilities and a comprehensive range of award-winning wines. Hancock and Hancock wines are distributed by Oatley Family Wine Merchants and exported to Hong Kong, China and the UK.

Historic McLaren Vale’s undulating slopes and rich terra rossa soil combined with its warm, dry climate has proven ideal for growing fine Malbec.

Deep and intense purple colour with aromas of black cherries and violet. A juicy mid-palate consisting of ripe plums and liquorice is intertwined with soft tannins leading to a long lingering finish.
