🍷 Appearance
Deep cherry red with vibrant crimson hues. Bright and youthful in the glass, with excellent colour and clarity.

👃 Aromas
Lifted and expressive, showing dark cherry, raspberry and ripe red berries with attractive notes of potpourri, marzipan, subtle smoky oak and warming spice.

👅 Palate
Fresh, generous and beautifully balanced, delivering ripe cherry, dark raspberry and plum flavours layered with red liquorice, dark chocolate and savoury spice. The fruit is juicy and concentrated while retaining excellent freshness and varietal character.

🍈 Texture & Finish
Medium-bodied with a plush, velvety texture and fine, polished tannins. Seasoned French oak adds subtle structure and complexity, leading to a long, juicy and gently peppery finish.

🍇 Overall Style
A beautifully expressive Clare Valley Grenache combining generous ripe fruit with freshness, spice and elegant structure. Made from old, low-yielding, dry-grown vineyards in Watervale, it is a polished and sophisticated expression of the variety.

Perfect with roast lamb, grilled pork, duck, barbecued meats, Mediterranean dishes, chargrilled vegetables and mature cheeses.

⭐ BBD Verdict
An impressive Grenache with loads of character—juicy, spicy and wonderfully approachable, yet with enough structure and complexity to reward further cellaring. The 2021 was awarded Trophy for Best Grenache and Top Gold at the 2023 Royal Adelaide Wine Show, adding further weight to an already excellent Clare Valley release.
