With five generations behind them and a fresh spark of under-30 energy, Champagne Thierry Fournier is one of the most exciting young growers in the Vallée de la Marne. Based in Festigny – a Meunier stronghold – Julien Fournier and partner Justine are crafting luminous, detailed wines from 45 plots across 12 villages.
Pinot Meunier leads the charge, planted in a mosaic of chalk and clay soils that deliver both texture and tension. The wines are classically raised in stainless steel, with long lees ageing. A new cellar in Cuis has brought added scope for barrel fermentation and future single site bottlings. These are bright, expressive grower Champagnes from people with deep roots and a bold vision – and we’re thrilled to share them with Australia for the first time.
